- Shrink-fit systems require that you purchase an expensive induction heater costing several thousand dollars. With the APC, The included hex-key is the shrinking system!
- Other types of holders are only available in dedicated sizes, requiring you to buy a new holder for each diameter tool. The Albrecht APC uses special collets so that one holder can accommodate multiple tool sizes.

All APC Milling Chucks incorporate a central coolant-thru feature to prolong tool life.
Collets have a special surface treatment that increases wear resistance and provides long life. Each collet includes an axial locating screw for length adjustment of the cutting tool.
